We process submissions between 9AM – 11AM Monday through Friday so submit your event in advance! No same day submissions and it is best to submit a minimum of one week in advance for best results.
My way to Wellness is a new online nutrition program for low-income residents of Michigan offered by MSU Extension. It is self-paced, so you can take it any time that works for you, from anywhere! The course reviews how to make healthy food choices that works for you, physical activity, goal setting, food safety, reading a food label, and more! The course has interactive activities and quizzes to aid in learning. You can also earn up to $60 in fruits and vegetables. An email, phone call or text with a link to join will be sent before the class begins. This program is for 18 and over residents with low-income in Arenac, Gladwin, Iosco, Ogemaw, Oscoda or Roscommon Counties. It is funded by the USDA’s Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program-SNAP. Delivered by MSU Extension.
