From the quiet sanctuary of Hoist Lake’s 10,600 acres of the finest backpacking route on Michigan’s East Coast (the trail network encompasses seven small lakes and courses through rugged terrain with many hills topping 1,200 feet).
To a favorite day in the Reid Lake Trail Area where visitors will find a very large beaver pond, many marshes and bogs and an abundance of birds and wildlife.
