Kid’s Day!

The atlatl is a simple tool used for throwing spears. At some point in the past, almost all human ancestors utilized the atlatl as a hunting weapon. Atlatl throwing competitions are still popular today. Participants will have an opportunity to test their skills with this tool! This program is free of charge however donations are accepted in the Visitor center to cover expenses.
